Role Summary/Purpose

The CI Engineer will be a team player with a creative flair, comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment developing state of the art monitoring & diagnostic technology. In addition, the role will support the operations team to enable a smooth transition of product developments from engineering to manufacturing operations and includes support of customer technical issues.
Core skills - Fault finding across a range of Power Electronics, Analogue Electronics, Microprocessors, PCBs.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Proven record of fault finding to component level on PCBAs.

·  Proven record of fault finding complex electrical / mechanical products to Root Cause.

·  Manage multiple continuous improvement projects.

·  Collaboration with other team members (including hardware\\software\\manufacturing engineers) to determine failures.

·  Communicating findings to cross functional groups.

·  Working with various engineering teams to ensure that identified fixes are implemented.

·  Lead product improvements from initial concept to production.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Degree/HND in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent knowledge or experience

·  A solid understanding of analogue and digital design.

·  Experience of industry standard PCB CAD packages, ideally Altium Designer.

·  Demonstrate previous success working in a team based environment to meet objectives.

·  Ability to write comprehensive technical design documentation.
