New Product Introduction (NPI) Technician

As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Technician, you will oversee the local NPI process and support the Personalization team in the operation and management of customer products.

A week in the life of an NPI Technician:
· You will part of new projects initiated by the Sales Support or R&D teams, and analyze the project impact in order to address production constraints.
· You will participate in internal projects to improve productivity, security and reduce operational costs by applying lean manufacturing methods.
· You will work with the Personalization Development team to test new software packages.
· You will configure new on-site tools to improve personalization data flow, quality and production efficiency.
· You will provide operational support to address any issues that occur during the UAT/PAT or production processes.
· You will identify issues related to products, processes, quality systems; initiate recommend, and provide solutions.

Qualifications :

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
·  To succeed at this job, you must have the will to participate in industrialization projects and new process implementations in a technological environment of production.

·  This position requires good knowledge of Office, and basic skills in programming languages and Database SQL.
·  You must be fluent in English.
·  We would like someone to join our team who is a strong team player, open-minded with initiative, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
·  In this position, we are looking for someone with the ability to be very precise, someone who is able to be a toll gate controlling that the package delivered is conform to production rules. In this role you will track and measure the performances of our internal supplier.
·  You need to have a high-school diploma as IT Technical / IT Developer, or a beginner Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with a focus on Information Technology or Programming.
·  It would be a plus if the candidate has 1 - 2 years of engineering experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
