Your position and environment?
Our Faurecia Interior System Business Group – Europe Division is looking for you as a VIE – Serial Buyer m/f for our Site in Scheuerfeld, Germany
Your role and responsibilities?
Your main missions will be to
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for cost reduction, validated with Commodity teams
- Support implementation of productivity actions (product/process) defined with Commodities
- Monitor productivity performance for his perimeter through cross-functional teamwork in the plants (i.e. productivity committees) and present to the plants management board the productivity plan and the progresses
- Challenge Commodities to achieve the Purchasing Budget
- In case of escalation, for most critical topics, support the Supply Chain team to improve supplier deviation in Miss-deliveries Per Million (MPM)
- Be involved in the kick off in program phase to prepare the start of Production and lead transfers meetings with Program Buyers at the take-over
- Inform Commodity teams in case of major volumes changes
- Lead negotiation for Engineering Change Request (ECR) and product productivity under control / supervision of commodities
Who are you?
- Master degree in engineering or international purchasing
- Recent graduate, or first experience in purchasing or production
- Productivity / lean management methodology
- Ability to work in matrix organization
- Communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in English and good level in German
