Ericsson Expert Anal ytics

Ericsson Expert Analytics is a powerful new tool offered to telecom operators producing immediately actionable customer insights in real time. Backed by specialized metrics for predicting customer satisfaction, Ericsson Expert Analytics provides the kind of deep understanding of customer behavior that allows service providers to proactively improve experience, satisfaction, average revenue per user and Net Promoter Score.

We are expanding our Budapest Expert Analytics development and support organization. We work in small teams that use Agile methodology to keep up in a fast paced business environment, we closely cooperate with Ericsson Research, customer units and service delivery organization. Our product platform combines Big Data methodologies and solutions with our unique complex event processing to create a state of the art analytics and decision management system.

Position Summary

As a Database System Architect you will be responsible for analysing technical requirements and architectural design and evolution of the Database systems of EEA (Greenplum and/or Oracle).

Responsibilities

·  Collaborate with Strategic Product Managers and Product Owners and contribute to defining the product roadmap
·  Work together with the Product Owner to understand database requirements and complete feasibility studies to break them down to detailed requirements
·  Drive database related use cases, performance optimizations and dimensioning
·  Give database related support and expertise to the development teams
·  Continuously monitoring database technologies and best practices, evaluate and integrate them into the product architecture

Minimum qualifications

·  A MS/BS degree in Computer Science or related

Preferred Experience

·  Expertise in SQL & Database Level performance tuning skills
·  Expert knowledge of database and Shell / Python scripting
·  Experience in managing high-performance, high-capacity databases in a critical production environment
·  Experience with Oracle 12c/11gR1/R2 RAC or Greenplum including build, general administration, troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
·  Experience in Cluster ware (GRID Infrastructure) - CRS management and configuration
·  Skilled in Oracle ASM and Data guard administration
·  Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic & analytical skills
·  Experience working within the Hadoop or other big data distributed ecosystem
·  Knowledge on Oracle ExaData & Postgres is plus
