POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Project Leader

Objectives:
The successful candidate will be responsible to plan, execute and implement project having as objectives quality improvements and cost optimizatioon in existing product.
This includes coordinating project team in an international environment in order to deliver projects according to plan.

Key Operational Responsibilities:
• Lead projects from beginning to end for  engineering changes, quality improvements, cost optimisation in existing cooking products.
• Lead project teams
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members.
• Track project milestones and deliverables and present project status in Check Point meetings/steering team meetings
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and propose contingence plans.
• Be responsible for new supplier implementation in the existing product.
• Be responsible for activities needed in the product for manufacturing support
• Drive standardization
• Create component and product specifications
• Contact with suppliers and purchasing community
• Ensure that new products/projects fit into the platform and subsystem structure
• Participate in platform project and new product's variant teams
• Define input for Bill of Material and implement it
• Use development/quality tools like FMEA´s, project planning tools etc.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of hardware and software development.
• Knowledge of electric and  electromechanical components development
• Knowledge of electric and  electronic manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of  quality tools (FMEA´s, …)
• Ability to work with an international teams (electronics environment)
• Ability to adapt to a very fast change requirement and priorities
• Ability to organize and manage workload in order to effectively support multiple projects
• Project management.
• Experience in Design for Assembling and Manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience as Project Leader preferred  in Electric and  Electronic environments/projects

Preferred Career Experience:
• 3 years of experience in projects management

Education:
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Electric, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
