The incumbent will work within the Drug Rebate Team performing a variety of tasks pertaining to Drug Manufacturer rebate processing. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

·  Process incoming manufacturer documentation and payments accurately, checking for completeness
·  Apply manufacturer payments accurately
·  Update and verify designated spreadsheets
·  Validate daily work
·  Maintain manufacturer participation information
·  Review drug claims for potential errors negatively impacting invoice payment
·  Identify and escalate issues appropriately
·  Interact professionally with internal and external customers, including Providers, Manufacturers and State Clients
·  Able to reconcile invoices

Education and Experience

·  Associates, Bachelors of equivalent industry experience
·  Healthcare industry experience
·  Background with Insurance and/or Provider based billing
·  The incumbent will be expected to have an eye for detail, be self-motivated, use time-management skills
·  Ability to utilize effective communication (verbal and electronic) and computer skills
·  Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet) as well as InterChange and OnBase
·  A basic understanding of financial processes would be helpful.
·  Pharmacy Tech certification preferred but not required.
