About the Job   

As an intern within Danone, you will be challenged to perform at the highest level possible. As part of the Finance team, you will be responsible for all theintercompany cross-charges flowsfor Danoners who work in another business unit or are expats. You will also highly contribute to month end closing activities and budget/forecast set up. This experience can give you empowerment, autonomy, and a complete overview of the business controller's job. 

 

Your manager will be Marius Ionascu and you will work closely together with him. You will also be working with other business units in different countries, which will give you the opportunity to see how a big international company works. Additionally, you will be closely working with our accounting team.  

 

Some of the main responsibilities include: 

· 
Responsible of the intercompany flows of the NL entity (cross chargesto the different entities for the expats within Danone); 

· 
Support with month end activities and preparation of monthly reporting  

· 
Createpurchase ordersand makegood receipts; Help in the month end closing and prepare accruals; 

· 
Maintain fixed costs tool reporting   

· 
Analyze month end SAP extracts and support business controller in budget and forecast preparation 

· 
Ad hoc tasks related to OVH (requests from the business);

About you

So, what are we looking for? You are a Bachelor/Master’ student inFinanceor related fields. You are able to work accurately and be focused on details. Also, you have to be able to communicate with colleagues from different countries and different cultures and be comfortable in a constant changing environment. You should have knowledge ofExcel(SAP and Power BI is a plus), have strong analytical skills and basic knowledge of accounting. In addition, we are looking for an open person who isn’t afraid to ask questions and with a strong motivation for continuous improvement. 

 

There are also some compulsory requirements: 

· 
Enrolled as aBachelors/Mastersstudent during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university); 

· 
Ideally available to start in June for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week; 

· 
You are fluent in English - oral and written;  

· 
You are able to work fromHoofddorpoffice 2 times per week.  

· 
Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We Offer 

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad. 

 

* Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.
