About the job

As a  CEE   Controller  you have a crucial role to play in the innovation process. Your expertise in finance and business principles is essential in ensuring the success of any new project. By focusing on key KPIs such as return on investment, business case accuracy, and predictability, you can help steer the innovation process towards profitability and growth. Your active participation in meetings is also essential. Understanding the significance of innovation processes in overall results is crucial, as in the next three years, half of the portfolio will be made up of innovation projects. Your ability to understand the financial implications of any decisions made, and to use your persuasive and negotiation skills to unblock any obstacles, is crucial to keeping the innovation process moving forward.

 

YOUR responsibilities as a CEE  Controller will include (but are not limited to)

·  Financial support for new product launches and ensuring accurate financial assumptions for all business cases
·  Proactive contributor to the innovation process and fully comprehends the impact of actions on financial outcomes
·  Responsible for gathering the information and tracking the evolution during the year.
·  Supporting the leaders by providing adequate visibility of the figures in cross-functional teams
·  Challenge all assumptions and take ownership of the numbers to deliver a significant impact on the P&L
·  Valorize all the assumptions from the Inno process and present the outcome in dedicated forums with a focus on Profitability and Return on Investment
·  Maintain a fluid information flow between the Innovation and Marketing functions and the Finance teams across 5 countries – on any relevant topic that could be beneficial for each of the sides to meet their objectives
·  Ensure alignment with Danone procedures and compliance policies

About you

To be successful in the position YOU should have

·  Background in finance for min 3 years, specifically in controlling
·  Good communication and collaboration skills
·  Experience in the field of FMCG could be an advantage
·  Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset
·  Experience in managing innovation and innovative processes could be an advantage
·  Strong Excel knowledge
·  Fluency in English
·  Experience with Essbase and Power BI tool could be an advantage
·  Can-do attitude
·  Ability to work independently
·  Act with speed and agility in a complex business environment
