Poste et missions:
- The Inventory Management and Planning Analyst will participate in the process of managing and allocating available resources and inventory based on business rules. This would include managing due dates for material procurement, suppliers and transit lead time, supplier’s capacity and inventory stock holding policies
Also, he/she must have knowledge of scheduling and managing sourced product deliveries in order to meet the requirements of inventory replenishment or scheduled production plans
- The Inventory Management and Planning Analyst will participate in the process of Forecasting Sales, predicting procurement requirements to meet estimated sales in a forecasting period.
He/she must have capacity to analyze previous sales, the general state of the economy, consumer preferences, and competitive products. Understanding of how production forecasting decisions affect budgetary and scheduling decisions. He/she must be familiar with sales forecasting models.
- The Inventory Management and Planning Analyst will participate in the management of the timing and quantities of goods to be ordered and stocked by a spare parts warehouse in order that demand can always be satisfied without excess of stock or shortages
He/she will participate to inventory optimization initiatives, the process of ensuring materials and products are available for delivery to customers, maintaining the lowest possible level of inventory and planning stock transfer, supplier delivery schedules and purchasing activities.
- The Inventory Management and Planning Analyst will participate oversees the calculation of appropriate stocking levels to mitigate demand variability through the inclusion of all relevant lead times, variability during lead times, and desired service levels.
He/she must be familiar with different models of inventory strategies (JIT, MRP, EOQ etc.) that best meets the business needs of cost, risk and customer satisfaction
Profil:
- Degree in engineering or management or equivalent, focus on Supply Chain management is a plus
- Basic knowledge of data extract/reporting software
- Preferably previous experience in the field of the automotive supply chain, Parts and service business
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
- Fluent English spoken and written
- Knowledge of SQL and database fundamentals is a plus
- Accuracy and timeliness, management of priorities, accountability, pro-activity and orientation to result, attitude to learn, self-development, team-player
- Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with stakeholders
- Flexibility and versatility of working hours
