The opportunity

 

Atos are looking to recruit an experienced Business Analyst with strong technical understanding, who will be responsible for improving processes, products and services by providing competitive commercial IT solutions to key clients in the Utility sector.

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

 

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for the following:

·  Review estimates and quotes for technical and commercial accuracy;
·  Provide support for new bids, proposals and projects;
·  Develop and improve relationships with key clients;
·  Assist customers with the development of technical roadmaps for their application estate.
·  Extend the services delivered by Atos into the existing client base, where applicable, working with 3rd party suppliers;
·  Utilise existing relationships to develop new business opportunities with clients;
·  Identify customer facing Risks and Service Improvements and demonstrate ability to manage to a successful conclusion;
·  Respond to customer queries and FAQ’s;
·  Provide advice and mentorship to customers on the day to day running of their applications.

·  Checks all work thoroughly before passing it as ‘fit for purpose’;
·  Takes responsibility for own actions;
·  Responds quickly to changes to objectives / direction;
·  Looks at situations from different perspectives in order to develop creative solutions

 

This role is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

 

Skills we can’t do without:

 

·  Educated to 3rd level standard in an IT related discipline;
·  Experience working in a meaningful project and / or support environment;
·  Systems integration experience across multi-tier platforms;
·  Experience gathering business requirements, providing estimates and delivering specifications for large complex changes.

 

Skills we’d like:

 

·  Associated accreditations appropriate to role.
·  Knowledge of Business Processes within the Utilities industry;
