We are currently looking for an experienced and self-motivated Vendor Flex Operations Manager to join our team and play a critical role within the EU External Fulfillment (EF) team. The primary purpose of the role will be the management, control and direction of our Vendor Flex operations in Italy.

Vendor Flex is one of the most attractive and fast-growing fulfillment business models in the Amazon universe. It is a node inside a vendor fulfillment center with Amazon stock and shipments to customers.
The role of Vendor Flex Manager is a critical position and delivers huge impact on customer experience, bottom line performance and future growth within the External Fulfillment business.

Vendor Flex Manager: The scope is described by 3 main responsibilities.

1) Operations Management: Manage the operations of 4-6 VFlex sites at the best operational excellence and organize all the fulfillment activities with the different internal and external teams involved (the vendor, retail, transportation, supply chain, etc)
2) Maximize profitability of the nodes: Understand the financials and act on the different levers to maximize it
3) People Management: Leadership of 4-6 leads who are managing the operation on site.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years of operations leadership experience in a similar fast-paced process driven manufacturing, production or distribution/logistics environment
· Advanced Degree
· Strong data analysis skills - Ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data
· Good computer literacy: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
· Availability to travel
· Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position
· Business case decision-making, complex problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels
· Team player who can facilitate successful project work, operating to deadlines
· Fluent Italian and English essential, other languages desirable
