DESCRIPTION

Customer Trust & Partner Support, Finance Analytics Advisory (CFAA) team is hiring a talented Program Manager to launch our new legal bulk data request program! We are looking for people who are passionate about using data to mitigate risk, and to drive innovative solutions in an increasingly complex business environment.

To help Amazon deliver on this reputation for trust, CFAA Team provides controllership oversight for all of our Customer and Selling Partner businesses. We do this by serving as internal data consultants - reviewing how metrics tracking critical business programs are developed, and ensuring that data reported both internally and externally accurately reflects reality.
We are hiring a Program Manager (PM) to support legal and regulatory bulk data requests. Candidate must be able to translate business requirements into data definitions for our BI resources, work across teams to prioritize requests for timely delivery, and navigate regulatory and compliance related reporting requirements.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:
· Gathers data requirements and aligns on definitions with stakeholders, define output based on expressed stakeholder needs.
· Triages legal requests to identify appropriate response and BI owners.
· Validates legal and regulatory request materials, such as lawsuit or regulatory notices, to ensure the accurate information is provided based on Amazon operations.
· Obtains and documents legal, tax, InfoSec, and compliance sign-offs for bulk data requests.
· Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon’s data resources and know when, how, and which to use and which not to use.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring application of project management skills to translate business requirements into data or technical requirements.
· Experience navigating legal and compliance related risks.
· Experience using SQL to query data, experience with database and visualization technologies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
· A Bachelor’s degree or higher
· 3+ years experience in program or project management
· Experience defining and executing against program requirements
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
· 3+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring application of project management skills to translate business requirements into data or technical requirements.
· Demonstrated ability to function in an ambiguous environment while managing multiple deliverables.
· Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
· Analytical and quantitative skills with experience using data and metrics to answer questions.
· Advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
