Web & Program Developer - Operations

DESCRIPTION

This position will work with our Fulfillment Center Operations in all departments developing web-based tools that support operational initiatives.
On any given day, you will be helping us fulfill our customer promise when you:
· Develop websites using HTML, Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript empowering users throughout the FC to better innovate process improvements, create and track critical action items, and resolve issues
· Analyze transactional data and report on building capacity, inventory control metrics, inventory errors, processes, and performance management control
· Provide analytical support to improve inventory integrity and process efficiency for our fulfillment centers
· Root cause research to identify process breakdowns
· Collect and manipulate data with NoSQL/SQL (MySQL, DynamoDB, Redshift).

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· A completed Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or 2+ years Amazon experience
· Proficiency using Ruby on Rails and other modern programming languages (Java, Python, or C#)
