AWS offers over 100 fully featured services to millions of active customers around the world—including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies—to power their infrastructure. Business Technology & Services (BTS) is a diverse team that supports infrastructure and other foundational initiatives that span and support Sales, Marketing and Support teams within AWS.

The AWS Sales Operations Team is in need of a driven, analytical, and process-oriented Operations Analyst to help us support private pricing programs and manual EC2 Reserved Instance transactions. We're looking for a motivated self-starter who is passionate about managing operational processes, identifying and resolving systemic issues, has experience meeting strict SLAs with a high degree of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
· Retrieve and analyze data using Excel, Salesforce.com, and other data management/BI systems
· Process EC2 Reserved Instance purchases, modifications, and cancellations
· Proactively identify and implement operational improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements.
· Perform data entry, data management, and pricing calculations
· Interpret complex pricing contracts and determine pricing structure to be applied for a defined term
· Effectively communicate confidential data with a variety of stakeholders
· Support weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting

This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. citizen and obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree
· 2+ years of relevant professional experience
· Business analysis and functional experience with quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills
· Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups)
· Experience working a queue of requests and meeting SLAs
· Attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
· Verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
· Vocally self-critical to allow for self-correction of errors
