Amazon has an immediate opening for an IT Support Associate in our Amazon corporate office in Cagliari. We are looking for individuals with excellent organizational skills to provide logistical help for our IT services team. Our ideal candidate is valued as a team member by their co-workers and is motivated by a strong desire to learn and develop a career in Information Technology.

Our team provides technical support to corporate employees at Amazon. In your typical day, you will assist the team by performing non-technical tasks such as restocking vending machines and performing room sets for meetings. You will assist with procurement and inventory management. This includes the ordering, receiving, inventory and storage of equipment and supplies. As you develop your IT skills, you will be allowed to perform limited IT tasks while being mentored by more senior team members. The IT Support Associate must be able to communicate effectively in writing and follow written operating procedures.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Basic computer literacy, able to use email and MS Office applications
· Ability to lift 25 lbs with reasonable accommodation.
· Fluence in Italian & English are required & essential
· Customer facing skills - able to communicate effectively with our customers who may not be technically inclined
