DESCRIPTION

Amazon is seeking an energetic, bright, and experienced executive assistant with a history of high performance to support two directors in Amazon Advertising. This position will report to a lead EA and serve as part of an EA team supporting 1,400 employees and growing.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience as an executive assistant, managing complex calendars and providing top quality service for their executives. They will be highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities. They will possess the ability to complete tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, be able to take effective action without having to know the total picture, and efficiently and proactively solve difficult problems.

This position requires high levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Must have the ability to communicate well and to manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Exceptional written and oral communication skills, high attention to detail, bias for action, detailed planning, time management and organizational skills are required.

The position requires the capacity to work successfully in a team environment, build effective working relationships & maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization and become the “go-to” person for support activities.

Additionally, the position requires experience with planning complicated, multi-destination international travel.

Key Responsibilities:
· Management of complex scheduling, meeting prioritization, large scale meeting coordination
· Scheduling cost effective air/hotel/ground transportation, creating detailed travel itineraries (including smooth transitions between time zones), coordinating with in-house travel agents and managing international as well domestic travel processes
· Space planning
· Organizing, executing, and assisting with team activities and logistics (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, quarterly on-sites/off-sites, and team social events)
· Tracking and helping to drive completion of key deliverables and following up on outstanding action items
· Light project/program management

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 2 + years experience providing executive support assistance
· 2 + year planning complex, multi-destination international travel
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Project management experience
· Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
· Experience working with large, global teams
· Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
· Experience planning space/seating arrangements
