We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to lead data analytics and drive critical product decisions for Amazon's Choice. In a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, you will be right, a lot. You will perform multiple large, complex, and business critical analyses that will inform Amazon's Choice product design and business priorities. You will also get a lot done, working very efficiently and delivering the right things. You will design and build business intelligence to allow routine inspection and deep business understanding as Amazon's Choice expands to more use cases and surface areas. Keeping a department-wide view, you will focus on the highest priorities and constantly look for scale and automation, while making technical trade-offs between short term and long term needs. In this role, you will partner with data engineers, product managers, software engineers, economists, and applied scientists, while being a key member of Amazon's Choice leadership team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Relevant experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, market research or related field.
·
· Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years of experience as an analyst or engineer in the data/BI space
·
· Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
·
· Experience with SQL
·
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math or finance, or related industry experience
·
· Hands-on experience with Advanced SQL/ETL, fluent in R and/or Python, AWS technologies and databases in a large-scale, complex business environment
·
· Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner
·
· Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload
