Software Architect- Global Procurement

Job description

The Procurement Analytics team at Allianz is a new operation within the Group, charged with creating state-of-the-art data and analytics pipelines for the spend data of the Allianz Group.  We are looking for an experienced data scientist to oversee the development of data-driven and statistical applications that will deliver unprecedented visibility over a multi billion-euro portfolio of expenditure to optimize savings potential.

You will

This role will have the main responsibility for our data tools and end-user dashboards and applications.  The successful hire will oversee the establishment of, and develop and extend, our new AI contract functionality - a critical function of our organization and the basis of our enlarged service offering.

·  Build up enterprise-grade sourcing- and spend-data pipelines
·  Direct design and operation of AI contract data pipeline and querying interface
·  Develop best practices for the handling of internal financial data
·  Supervise and direct internal consulting staff in all aspects of data process design

Your skills

 

Minimal Skills

·  'Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other Engineering, 3-5 years' experience in Data Engineering.  Facility with Python and API management

Preferred Skills

·  Bachelors degree in Computer Science, 2 years' experience in a Software Architect role.  Python and web front-end development experience.
