We are looking for a Sales Analyst and Marketing Specialist (m/f/d), based in Vienna. 

 

The Impact You Will Have 

As Sales Analyst and Marketing Specialist at Allianz Commercial for the region Central Europe, you will play a pivotal role at the intersection of sales performance and strategic marketing. Reporting to the Regional Head of Distribution Central Europe, you will drive data-driven decision-making by generating insightful sales reports, ensuring data quality in Salesforce, and supporting the effective use of key systems like Foundry, Genius, and Cube. At the same time, you’ll shape impactful marketing initiatives - coordinating campaigns, events, and platform integrations - while acting as a central contact for training and vendor collaboration. This dynamic role offers a unique opportunity to influence both commercial strategy and customer engagement across the region. 

 

Allianz Commercial's Central Europe region includes Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine.  

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

  • Generate timely monthly country sales reports, analyze sales-related data, and contribute to the development and execution of impactful sales and marketing initiatives. 

  • Ensure high data quality in Salesforce by collaborating with local departments, advising Underwriting, Operations, Distribution teams. 

  • Monitor and support the effective use of Salesforce and Foundry within the company, including overseeing proper and regular data exchange with other relevant systems (e.g., Genius, Cube).  

  • As a power user, continuously develop sales management tools, review functionalities, and implement them across regions.  

  • Act as the main contact for integrating marketing platforms—such as mass mailing and event management applications—with Salesforce, including interface definition and functionality checks.  

  • Provide regional support for global marketing initiatives and campaigns.  

  • Assist with Net Promoter Score (NPS) survey implementation and coordinate follow-up actions based on feedback.  

  • Develop targeted topic suggestions aligned with business priorities.  

  • Coordinate marketing events for the Lines of Business (LoB) and online spotlight sessions, ensuring clear objectives and targeted audience selection.  

  • Cultivate vendor relationships to ensure quality, competitiveness, and responsiveness. 

  • Serve as the point of contact for training and facilitation related to Salesforce, Foundry, Compliance, and IT workplace inquiries. 

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred. 

  • Proven experience in the industrial/specialty insurance sector, ideally within Underwriting or Product Development. Expertise in at least one Line of Business. 

  • Demonstrated success in analytical roles such as Sales, Controlling, or similar. 

  • Solid understanding of the insurance sales lifecycle to effectively support Sales team operations. 

  • Ideally, a track record of cultivating long-term, profitable relationships with brokers and clients. 

  • Outstanding ability to interpret and analyze complex data from multiple sources. 

  • Ability to monitor and assess portfolio performance. 

  • Understanding of various sales channels (e.g., broker, tied agent, direct). 

  • Familiarity with tools for reviewing and reporting sales data (e.g., Salesforce or other CRM platforms). 

  • Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance daily tasks, drive efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making. 

  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and ideally, experience supporting the execution of multi-channel campaigns, including digital platforms, event coordination, and content development aligned with business objectives. 

  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities, with a talent for influencing stakeholders. 

  • Comfortable working in an international matrix organization; strong intercultural skills. 

  • Fluent in English; additional languages such as German are advantageous.

  • Annual gross salary: From EUR 75.000 - depending on qualifications there is a willingness to overpay.
