About the Job  

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated interns to join our Retained Procurement Team in the CFO Function. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in various aspects of Procurement, Processes, and Optimization projects within a global organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while working closely with professionals in the field. 

The Retained Procurement Function of Allianz Technology Group integrates, oversees and coordinates the Strategic Procurement sourcing activities and the Operational Procurement tasks. Our goal is to enable ordering of the required products/services in the right quality, at the right time and at best price-performance ratio ensuring the growing regulatory (e.g. Risk, Outsourcing) requirements. Moreover, we aim to guide our customers (Business units of Allianz Technology) throughout the end-to-end purchasing process in a structured and intuitive way.

 

What you do

·  Optimize existing procurement processes in terms of efficiency and performance
·  Contribute in the analysis of process optimization potentials and their implementation
·  Creation of process documentation within Procurement area
·  Preparation of reports and quality analysis for internal reporting purposes
·  Preparation of presentations, decision papers and other documents
·  Managing and handling daily tasks, organizing meetings, and responding to ad-hoc requests

 

What you bring

·  You are at an advanced stage or in the last year of your studies (Bachelor/Master degree) in a study area such as Economics, Finance, Engineering, Information Management, or a related field
·  Structured and organized approach to work with attention to details
·  Curiosity and learning agility to new challenges
·  Excellent prioritization skills, handling competing priorities under tight deadlines
·  Strong analytical, organizational, conceptual, and social/communicative skills (oral and written) with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional and international teams
·  Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
·  Dedicated team player with an ability to adapt to changing priorities
·  Passionate about procurement, project management, Analytics, stakeholder Management and related fields.
·  High customer orientation and a pragmatic approach
·  Previous experience in finance and business related functions (e.g. Procurement, Process Management, Consulting, Finance etc.) is a plus
·  Fluent in English (verbal and written), German is a plus
