Description of the job

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria.
VIE Main Requirements:

·  European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old.
·  Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any.
·  Fluent in English.

A VIE for a Financial Controller has arisen within Airbus Helicopters / Helibras inItajuba (Brazil). You will join the Finance Department for duration of 12 or 24 months, from December 2018.

Tasks & accountabilities

You will be responsible for the following main activities:

·  Controlling of Support and Services projects and programs
·  Focus on the controling of the Panther and Fennec contracts (VIE should help to improve the profitability of these contracts)
·  Support of controlling for Maintenance and Repair activities (including Super Puma support contract)
·  Monitoring of turnover, costs and margins in direct contact with Project and Program Managers
·  Monthly accounting closing support
·  Contribution to forecasts and planning of margins and cash flow
·  Consolidation with the Programs Department in France
·  Driving of ad hoc projects to improve competitiveness

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to Master's degree level in Finance and Controlling
·  A first experience in Controlling, if possible in the industry sector, would be appreciated
·  Competences in Finance, Controlling and Accountability are required
·  Ability to work in a different culture, rigor and organisation are necessary to succeed in the mission
·  Language Skills:
·  Advanced or Fluent level in English and Portuguese
·  French, Spanish or German is a plus
