Airbus UX & UI Design Internship

Job Description:

Airbus India is deeply engaged on product development for its customers i.e. Airlines, MROs and aircraft leasing companies as well. These products are aimed at bringing in operational efficiency by optimizing various operations like maintenance operations, flight planning, ground handling etc. It involves deeply engaging with our customers, understanding their pain areas and coming up with innovative products developed with cutting edge technologies in Agile product development methodologies.

As a UI/UX intern, you will help in design and implementation of all the experiences a user has when interacting with our digital product be it the web apps. 

You will work closely with our design team, frontend development team and the product management team to ensure seamless web design and the successful implementation of UI/UX best practices and principles across all our digital platforms.

Work closely & “reverse engineer” with Product management & Business teams for creation of Persona, customer journey, UI design and prototypes for material & maintenance digital solutions. Which would essentially help in developing a functional architecture, identify gaps and improvise the products.

Responsibilities:

· 
Gather and evaluate user requirements seamlessly in collaboration with product managers and engineers.

· 
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.

· 
Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.

· 
Build page navigation buttons and search fields.

· 
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.

· 
Create original graphic designs (e. g. images, sketches and tables).

· 
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.

· 
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e. g. responsiveness).

· 
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.

· 
Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.

· 
Conceptualize and iterate on high-quality designs

· 
Partner closely with designers, Product managers, and product teams to illustrate requirements (User stories).

· 
Good understanding & knowledge and understanding of Colors, Layouts, and Type.

· 
Passion for visual design: You know the difference between "good" and "great"

· 
Develop wireframes and Visual prototypes around requirements.

· 
Adhere to Airbus Design Guidelines & style standards.

· 
Run design processes: Not only can you identify and evangelize best practices, but also you’re able to push boundaries and explore new territory.

· 
Collect feedback from project managers and adjust the approach to cater to criteria

· 
Build sitemaps, UI, and prototypes to outline structure.

· 
Create production-ready assets by proficiently using standard industry tools

Qualifications :

· 
Bachelor’s Degree with focus on UI/UX

· 
Ability to document user experience and interactivity through wireframes, flowcharts, design specifications, and prototype demos.

· 
Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate designs.

· 
 UX/UI experience demonstrating design skills

· 
Proficiency in using Figma UX/UI design software and tools or equivalent.
