Description of the job :
A vacancy for a Radio-Frequency(RF) Pay-load Test Engineer (M/F) has arisen within Airbus OneWeb Satellites.

You will join the D2M Department.
The Design to Manufacturing team (D2M) is in charge in OneWeb Satellite SAS Company of designing the equipment and process to smoothly assemble and test the satellites constellation.

The Payload Test Engineer will be especially devoted to define Satellite RF Payload Test requirements and validate associated Tests Results to authorize Satellite delivery. His/her responsibilities include Tests Results customer Presentation.

The mission will begin in September 2019 and will last for 6 months.

Task & accountabilities :
Your main tasks and activities will include:

• Define/update consistent test strategy and coordinate with stakeholders
• Review and validate sub-system related units test plans & procedures, then review the test results and anomalies
• Select the Engineering & Production key parameters, write Validation Plans & Test Requirements, and verify ground & onboard interfaces
• Review Satellites production test procedures and tests results & anomalies

This role will involve frequent travel for business (50% of time) and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills :
As the successful candidate, you should be able to demonstrate the following skills and competencies:

• Electrical, Electronic, Digital & Radio-frequency Testing engineering

A minimum of 3 years of experience is required in the following domains:
• Communication programs, RF Payload architecture
• Production, manufacturing, assembly, integration & tests
• Test specifications or procedures writing
• Risks analysis methods
• Anomaly analysis methods
• RF test equipment development or operation
• Testing skills on flight Hardware

Soft Skills

• Good ability for inter-teams communication
• Technical synthesis and Reporting

Language Skills

• Advanced technical level of English
