Job Description

A great opportunity as a Release Train Engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse.

The INTELLIGENCE Business Cluster of Airbus DS CIS (CIS-INT) is strongly boosting his Digital offers of Geo Information Services to commercial customers. Long lasting European Leader on the market, we are now accelerating our growth by taking advantage of cloud technologies and of market evolution. We are generating significant additional value for our customers and partners based on new business models enabled by digital services. This requires culture change driven by an agile mindset and a user centric approach.

Our Digital Teams consist of world-class business leaders, designers, engineers, services specialists and cloud experts. As part of this team, you will take an active part in these great ambitions.

Methodology have been evolving from a traditional V cycle and single agile teams, and now to the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology to be able to scale up to large development teams. As an RTE (Release Train Engineer), you are part of the trio of the ART (Agile Release Train), together with the Product Manager and the System Architect. The RTE’s main mission is to facilitate the events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value, by communicating with stakeholders, escalating impediments, helping to mitigate risks, and driving relentless improvement.
