Job Description

The Airframe and Test Team of Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth is looking for a highly motivated intern (f/m/d) with 35 hours per week (flexitime).

Location: Donauwörth

Start: 01.04.2020

Duration: 5-6 Months

Missions and Activities

The airframe stress team is part of the Airbus Helicopters engineering organization and deals with all issues related to stress, loads and crash for airframe and vehicle integration of commercial and governmental helicopters.

Among the main occupations are:

·  Development and customization of airframe components and equipment for the existing and future Airbus helicopters fleet,
·  several research activities related to new manufacturing technologies and the corresponding analysis methodology,
·  the demonstration of compliance for certification and qualification,
·  definitions and support for flight and ground testing
·  responsibility for continued airworthiness as well as stress support for manufacturing and customer service.

Your responsibilities will include various tasks to support above mentioned activities ranging from handbook calculations over FEM simulations up to database maintenance.

You offer:

·  enrolled student (f/m/d) within aerospace engineering or similar
·  knowledge of structural mechanics and lightweight construction is mandatory
·  experience with common CAD/CAE software is advantageous
·  fluent in German and English
