Description of the job :
A vacancy for a Control System Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe .
The successful applicant will join Engineering Department .
The Control & Monitoring team within the Powerplant & Installations domain (TEAYP) is in charge of the design, development, integration and continous support of the FADEC, Fuel, APU, ECS, Fire and Inerting control and monitoring systems for A400M, MRTT, L&M and Eurofighter programs. Our role is mainly focus on software and complex hardware integration.

Task & accountabilities :
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Design and development of new software and complex hardward for ECS within A400M and Medium & Light platforms in accordance with ABD0100 and ABD0200
- Preparation, as necessary, of new System Requirement Document (SRD)
- Preparation, as necessary, of new Purchaser Technical Specification (PTS)
- Acceptance of System Supplier Specification (SSS) and System Equipment Specification (SES)
- BITE development and integration
- Validation and verification of applicable requirements in SRD, PTS, SSS and SES
- Support the development of Design reviews according to ABD0100.2.3 and ABD0100.2.4
- Preparation and updating, as necessary, of the System Interface Documents (SIDs), including AFDX and ARINC data, with other electrical/electronic
disciplines (like FCGS, FWS, CDS or CMS).
- Preparation and updating, as necessary, the LTRs, GTRs and FTRs
- Continous follow-up with the supplier for software and hardware
- Support to In-Service, MAP and FAL as necessary

Required skills :
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
• Aeronautical Engineer or equivalent (Master or similar).
• Experience in ECS development activities is desirable covering, at least partially, one aircraft development cycle. Experience in similar or related activities can be accepted as an alternative.
• Knowledge of Airbus tools, Matlab Simulink or DOORS will be highly appreciated.
• English as working language: fluent in writing and conversation.
• Good communication ability: with customers and suppliers, either external or internal. He / She will be involved in calls/ meetings with customers and other partners.
• Ready for travelling and stay in different locations upon programme needs.
• Ready to integrate in a multidisciplinary team.
