Job Title: Machine Operative - Guillotine / Saw
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm & Friday 7:30 am - 3:00 pm (subject to change)
Location: Welham Green/ Hatfield - Hertfordshire
Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time Permanent, with the opportunity for Temp - Perm

Responsibilities:

·  Precision Operation: Set up and operate machinery, including guillotine and saw, ensuring the highest standards of precision and efficiency.

·  Material Handling: Safely load and unload raw materials, contributing to our commitment to safety and quality.

·  Craftsmanship: Utilise your skills to cut aluminium extrusions to bespoke lengths, showcasing your attention to detail and craftsmanship.

·  Quality Control: Use gauges and measuring instruments to maintain strict tolerance requirements, ensuring the quality of our products.

·  Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on modern machinery, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

·  Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team to maximise yield and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

·  Technical Expertise: Familiarity with quality control equipment such as micrometres and other measuring tools is preferred.

·  Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a keen eye for detail, ensuring the highest level of quality in every task.

·  Time Management: Ability to prioritise and schedule work effectively, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.

·  Communication: Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and sharing insights.

·  Equipment Familiarity: Experience with Behringer saw machines is advantageous.

·  Additional Skills: Experience with deburring tools and a current counterbalance forklift license are desirable.
