Job Description

AdeccoCityare currently recruiting for amarketing leading, Construction based clientof ours based near Cannon Street. The successful candidate will be joining an established sub-team of 9, initially on a 12-month basis, in our client's modern head offices.

The successful candidate willact as ateam player providingefficient and pro-active support to the Estimating Director and the wider business.This role involves taking ownership and managing the estimating process for each tender, supporting the preconstruction process. The ideal candidate will have solid administration experience and have previously dealt with bids/tenders in a similar capacity.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·  Printing and checking in new tender documents

·  Gluing interviews and tender submission documents

·  Supporting the document control department

·  Sitting with the team to act as an extra pair of hands on busy submission mornings / interview days

·  Printing in house tender and interview submission covers

·  Transferring text into InDesign interview documents

·  Chasing subcontractor quotations

·  Taking the lead overseeing tender submission deadlines ensuring they are delivered on time, including:

·  Helping the estimator collate and PDF their pricing forms and schedules for submission

·  Printing and creating PDF copies of the tender submissions and programmes

·  Gluing hard copy tender submission documents for delivery

·  Taking the lead with tender interviews, getting them printed and glued in time for departure

·  Uploading bills to Conquest

·  DLM of new tender information

·  Scanning contract documents

·  O&M Administration

·  To assist the general office administration function as required

Ideal candidate and personal qualities:

·  Confident with exemplary organisation skills

·  Ability to prioritise value-add tasks and manage workload

·  Flexible approach to dealing with different personalities and management skills

·  Excellent written English and the ability to proof read and amend documents

·  Computer literate and able to learn new web-based packages and apps

Must have:

·  Microsoft office packages | intermediate Excel & Word

·  Acrobat | intermediate

·  Adobe InDesign | intermediate

Nice to have:

·  Other Adobe packages

·  Power project

·  Conquest/ Deltek
