Job Description

The Reporting and Visualization Developer will blend creativity, critical thinking, and strategy to help clients visualize their data. The Developer will help clients by analyzing data, using measurement techniques, drafting KPIs and building reports/dashboards to address business questions. The individual will work with clients and team members to design relevant data visualizations leveraging appropriate tools such as Tableau, Qlik, IBM Cognos, Plotly, Kibana, based on client need. The Developer will work with team members to conduct data and dashboard quality assurance throughout the design, build dashboard automation processes as well as organize analysis findings into logical presentations and present analytic results.

In this role, the Developer will work closely with IT Architects, BI analysts, database developers, application developers, functional practitioners, and clients/stakeholders.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications
·  Minimum 2 years of design or development experience with Tableau, including dashboards, reports, and/or front-end visualizations
·  Database development experience including Custom SQL design, PLSQL, and/or Data Modeling
·  Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with 6 years of work experience or equivalent work experience of 12 years
·  Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable up to 100%

Preferred Qualifications
·  Business Intelligence tools including Cognos, Business Objects, OBIEE, methodologies, and/or responsibilities
·  Experience or exposure to custom data visualization frameworks such as d3.js
·  Experience with other data visualization toolsets such as Qlikview or Spotfire
·  Full life cycle development in a BI or Analytics environment
·  Familiarity with various Data Platforms Teradata, IBM, TM1, Netezza, DataMirror, Oracle, Essbase, GoldenGate, EMS, Greenplum
·  Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
·  Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem solving environment
·  Desire to work in an information systems environment Excellent leadership, communication written and oral and interpersonal skills
