I am Luca Sicignano, I was born in Scafati (SA) on October 14th in 1989. I obtained a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering in 2014, and on October 2017 I achieved a PhD in Industrial Product and Process Engineering at the University of Naples Federico II. My research activity is mainly focused in the field of kinetic of cluster aggregation and fluid dynamics of chemical reactions for pharmaceutical applications. In addition, during my PhD I have worked on industrial projects commisioned by four companies. I am currently living at Naples but I am available to business travel.

01-2017 - 10-2017 Servizi per la personaProject engineer to develop of a portable device in the biomedical sector of the dialysis. I have dealed with in the acquisition of know-how and the characterization of the parameters in order to optimize the process and to realize the device. I had the role of project manager of a technical area. As far as the logistics aspect is concerned, I have looked for suppliers and materials, I have managed orders and I have dealed both to contact directly suppliers and to bargain the prices.

06-2014 - 10-2014 Design / Ingegneria civile / Ingegneria industrialeThe project has been focused on study and development of a microfluidic device to process flow-related reactions to reduce costs and increase productivity. In detail, I have analysed and controlled of process parameters and I have optimized the laboratory plant by experimental and computational tecniques. Futhermore, I dealt of the logistic such as orders and technical specifications of the material related to the project and by interfacing me directly with external suppliers.

In addition, I have knowledge of advanced microscopy, such as confocal microscopy, SEM, POM and microfluidic techniques, as lab-on-chip and micro-capillarity.
