04-2003 - 07-2015 Energia / Materiali / Meccanica I was a helicopter Supervisor Technician, in charge of approx eight subordinates, our task was to maintain and rectify the Raf's flying fleet of Chinook helicopters. Occasionally the aircraft would return to base with 'snags' as outlined by the aircrew upon signing the aircraft back in, the aircraft would then be serviced and all faults rectified if permitted and the aircraft returned to tasking as soon as possible. On a busy flying squadron returning an Aircraft to flying condition in a brief timescale is very rewarding.
