OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:

As a Certification Engineer intern, you will learn about aircraft seat dynamic crash testing requirements and regulation by working with an assigned mentor to complete an assigned project.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Participate as a multi-disciplinary engineering team member.
· Complete assigned program/project per written scope of work.
· Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics
· Ability to troubleshoot and work as a member of the team to solve problems.
· Attend meetings related to the project or department.
· Prepare a presentation on assigned program/project.
· Performs other duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

A. Knowledge and Skills:

· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Actively enrolled in a technical field of study such as mechanical, electrical, material science, or aerospace engineering.
· Working knowledge of CAD software.
· Familiarity with safe operation of basic hand tools and test lab equipment.
· Acquire an understanding manufacturing processes
· Attention to detail.
· Proficiency in MS Office software.

B. Education:

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program inupper level classes.
