Position Description

The mission of the Associate Verification Engineer is to assist in problem solving activities related to Electronic Control Unit (ECU) or end-to-end function issues. The verification engineer also executes and reports test results to the Verification Leader. This position works hands-on with the product and provides an opportunity for product knowledge and skill development.

Core Tasks and Responsibilities
·  Perform electrical & electronic fault tracing in vehicle and rig environment
·  Perform ECU programming and configuration
·  Perform data logging and analyze log files and captured DTCs
·  Support ECU SW and HW Owner with problem solving activities
·  Write problem reports
·  Develop test specifications for a given test scope
·  Interface with system requirements developer
·  Analyze input requirements
·  Analyze test development plan and test needs
·  Create and update required test scope, test specifications and test cases
·  Deliver the overall test scope in time for execution according to the task and the engineering development process
·  Execute tests & write reports on specific areas or level
·  Status reporting including problem resolution reporting on a function or product
·  Creates and delivers the final reports according to the task request
·  Provide input to the test automation team on areas of efficiency and quality improvements through automation Required Competencies

·  Minimum Education / Skills Required:
·  Minimum BSEE/BSME (MS degree preferred)
·  Experience and other requirements:
·  0-2 years Engineering Experience
·  Ability to travel (domestic and international)
·  Automotive, aerospace or commercial vehicle engineering experience a plus
