Job description

ConeTec is looking for an HR Administrator in our head office to support our global team. 

Our HR department is small and you will be a key part of it. In this role, you'll contribute to our efforts to make ConeTec a people first great place to work. You'll have a impact on our:

Your main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records, managing and developing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides) and updating internal databases.

Responsibilities

Organize and maintain personnel records
Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave)
Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
Revise company policies
Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
Participate in HR projects (e.g. help organize a job fair event)
Promote company culture through policies, initiatives, and events

Profile

Min 3 years of proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role

CPHR designation a strong asset

Experience with HR software, Experience with BambooHR a strong asset

Thorough knowledge of Canadian labour laws
Knowledge of US labour laws a strong asset
Strong computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)

Experience with database, data analytics, SQL, and other programming languages an asset

Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills

BS in Human Resources or relevant field

Additional Information

ConeTec is currently located in Richmond BC. We will move our head office to Burnaby BC in the first half of 2020.
