Background & Purpose of the Job

The ESP/CSCA analyst is a customer facing role that ensures performance and execution of top customer promotional programs, customer data analytics, results communication, continuous improvement projects and strategic customer initiatives. This role will be partnering with internal customer development, supply chain and external collaboration engagements on promotional programs and advanced analytics.

What you‘ll do:

Lead conversations and work directly with top customers and the customer service team to execute and deliver top performance metrics for key promotional programs while performing robust customer data analysis.

Serve as a promotional project manager and key linkage between Customer Development, Demand Planning, Logistics and Customer Service throughout supply chain to align stakeholders.

Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with promotional events to ensure flawless execution planning through delivery.

Analyze expansive customer data in multiple systems and tools, identifying continuous improvement opportunities through developing data driven insights, trackers, reporting and performance recaps. Lead continuous improvement projects and strategic collaborative customer initiative across the integrated supply chains

Assist the CSCM and Unilever customer team to develop collaborative/strategic initiatives, action plans and misc. projects to improve Unilever performance as measured by the customer.

Assist Customer Supply Chain Manager with development of action plans to improve mutual KPI results, issue resolution, and on-shelf availability.

Understand and complete analysis on customer supply chain to drive continuous improvement in efficient bracket pricing.

Participate as a core member on the Customer Care Team.

You're a strategy guru: You can conduct thorough analysis of a customers' supply chain and/or initiatives using process mapping and other techniques. After completing analysis, you should be able to strategize and recommend actions required implement improvements internally and externally.

You're a dot connector: You can see the “big picture” in analyzing and/or solving complex and sometimes focused issues so that modifications could allow Unilever to leverage initiatives with other customers.

You're a changemaker: You have mastered working with white space and can identify new techniques and data to gain new customer or channel insights. Overcoming the reluctance of the customer in sharing pertinent data for improvements

You're a paradox navigator: Evaluating trade-off of time, cost and service to satisfy both Unilever and its customers. You should be a change management expert and can navigate continual change via customer initiatives that could counterbalance Unilever SC directives.

What You'll Need To Succeed

Undergraduate degree in Operations / Logistics / Business Systems (Master's Degree a plus) or equivalent

3-5 years of relevant Logistics/Operations/Manufacturing – CD experience a plus

Knowledge of Unilever operational policies and order management procedures as well as the tactical business objectives a plus

Understanding of integrated systems, including both mainframe and desktop computer applications (this includes SAP, Merlin, AMPS and Essbase) preferred

Understanding of Customer systems to align on forecast and phasing
