Area description

UniCredit Services is the UniCredit’s global services company is dedicated to providing services in the sectors of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Back Office and Middle Office, Real Estate, Security and Procurement. Part of Unicredi Services is CIO Governance Functions area that provide all ICT solutions to the Governance Functions of Unicredit S.p.A.

Function description

Data and Analytics ICT is responsible for:

·  managing lifecycle of Data and Information used by Business functions and Competence Lines of UniCredit Group
·  partnering with competent Holding functions in order to develop conditions to increase the practical usage of data by the front lines and Competence Lines to drive business value and/or generate operating cost efficiencies
·  overseeing Data Governance and Data Quality according to business needs and in coherence with compliance aspects of Data Privacy and Bank Secrecy
·  ensuring the end to end Information Management Lifecycle (both structured and unstructured typologies) from data acquisition, through modelling, cleansing, transformation, classification, storage towards final user presentation and distribution
·  managing Run and Change of analytical engines and applications’ solutions implemented on the “Big Data” technological framework
·  managing the design, development and evolution of the methods and algorithms of advanced analytics, data science, machine learning, cognitive computing, used in applications and services provided by the structure
·  fostering methodologies, technologies and innovative ways of processing data and integrating and analyzing of services and applications based on data and analytics
·  supporting the competent Holding functions in the scouting of new generation products and/or platforms aimed to innovate and optimize the management of the services and applications lifecycle, as well as their usage
·  ensuring the right selection and evolution of assets, technologies and tools according to evolving market trends
·  contributing to design the overall Data System Architecture in collaboration with ICT architecture, UBIS CIOs and the competent Holding functions

Job description

You will experiment applications that are mainly financial field based requiring computation and processing huge volumes of data, provided to the Banks of UniCredit Group in Italy, Germany, Austria and Center-Eastern Europe. You will be also involved with development of the applications based on Big data including real-time event management.
