Summary

The human resources (HR) partner plays an advisory role for Ubisoft’s managers and employees to foster optimal human resources management and maintain a work environment that supports team development and goal attainment. The HR Partner also acts as a development advisor for IT teams.

Mission

Contribute to the development and continuation of the IT teams’ strategic vision

·  Support managers in the application of HR strategies;
·  Work with managers to create an innovative and participative work environment;
·  Analyze available HR data with an understanding of business issues and help managers translate them into action plans;
·  Act as a facilitator in change management;
·  Through managers, ensure cascading communication for teams on the information received from executives.

Manage daily HR operations

·  Coach and support managers on different aspects of daily team management related to HR management (e.g. performance management, work relation, etc.);
·  Ensure compliance of HR practices with regard to labour laws;
·  Take action and guide managers through conflictual situations (individuals and/or teams);
·  Implement, communicate and apply overall compensation practices within teams (bonuses, promotions, etc.);
·  Advise and represent the team in the annual salary review process;
·  Coordinate annual team performance assessment with managers.

Support the identified IT teams

·  Take part in some hiring interviews for management positions;
·  Whenever required, clarify the roles and responsibilities of the positions and define new positions;
·  Contribute to complex problem solving and put forward proactive approaches and solutions that are in line with management issues;
·  Identify emerging employees for the teams and contribute to development plan;
·  Working with the development team in order to coordinate the professional development of members of the IT teams.

Ensure team balance

·  Facilitate the integration of new employees within teams;
·  Facilitate the employee experience;
·  Coordinate and facilitate ongoing development and career progress for team members;
·  Ensure teams’ positive work environment, make diagnosis and propose solutions for teams to grow and work efficiently;
·  Facilitate the cohesion of teams’ members and participate, along with managers, to develop the employees’ sense of belonging.

Training component

·  Take part in planning, setting out and implementing strategies and assess the training programs and activities to ensure they meet employee needs;
·  Insure the communication of the training offer to the concerned communities;
·  Assess needs by facilitating the determination of best training strategies for each program section/activity;
·  Support and guide content and material design and development;
·  Coach internal instructors and ensure their development;
·  Direct the external instructors to ensure that the content of their training meets the needs of the corporation;
·  Oversee the processes to deliver project strategies;
·  Implement mechanisms to measure knowledge transfer and participant satisfaction;
·  Promote, supervise and host knowledge sharing activities;
·  Carry out all other related tasks.

Relevant experience and training

·  University degree in industrial relations or human resources;
·  Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience in human resources as a generalist, or any other related experience;
·  Experience in a company with an international scope;
·  Member of ORHRI (an asset);
·  Bilingualism (French-English, spoken and written).
