Ubisoft is currently seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist for our Customer Relationship Center in Cary, NC. This special individual should be upbeat and friendly, be a self-starter and problem-solver, initiate solutions, possess a high value for collaboration and communication, and be comfortable with ambiguity and frequent changes. The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR duties on a professional level in all functional areas and works closely with the HR team, reporting to the HR Manager.
Status: Full-Time, Perm / Exempt, Salaried
Location: Cary, NC
Travel: May be required to travel occasionally
Qualifications:
· 3-5 years'+ experience in human resources, preferably in roles of increasing responsibility (up to and including Generalist)
· A bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, or
· A bachelor's degree in business and a PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP required
· Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint
· Strong analytical and process improvement skills
· Ability to work independently and productively
· Superior interpersonal, communication, prioritization, and organizational skills
· Active listening skills and empathy, interacting with others in a calm, friendly, and caring manner
Responsibilities:
· Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
· Assists in recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-pathing program; and writes and places advertisements.
· Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
· Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
· Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
· Administers the compensation program; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
· Performs benefits administration including change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefits information to employees.
· Handles employee relations counseling, conflict resolution, and exit interviewing.
· Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
· Assists in developing and implementing training and employee development programs
· Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
· Manages unemployment claims and attends telephone hearings as needed.
· Assists with special projects as needed.
· Handles and maintains sensitive and confidential information.
· Seeks opportunity for continuous learning and professional development
· Assist in backing-up Office/HR Coordinator during emergencies or as needed
