Job Description

As an inspection methods engineer for Exploration-Production, you would be assigned to a position based onshore, heading a inspection department or reporting directly to the head of inspection of an affiliate (base resident). It would require frequent site visits and visits to Contractors.

The inspection methods engineer :

·  Is highly sensitive to HSE procedures and culture, ensure his/her teams comply with the HSE requirements and promote a proactive approach.
·  Ensures follow-up of equipment under monitoring. Prepares and follows inspection administrative files. Proposes optimization methods and improvement of operation in order to optimize production while maintaining high integrity standards.
·  Proposes technological innovations to solve operational issues or improve methods implemented within affiliates.
·  Prepares, organizes and supervises inspection operations on site
·  Supervises and brings technical and methodological expertise for inspection engineering
·  Ensures technical audits and acts as inspection expert as well as operational support for projects, affiliates or others. Participates to the definition of inspection policies and ensures respect of international rules and standards for projects and affiliates.

Candidate profile

Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years’ study) or Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent.
10/15 years’ experience in the field of inspection on oil installations.
Mastering of inspection tools (SAP, RBI systems) and international norms in terms of inspection of pressure equipments, pipelines and subsea structures
Languages: fluent English, fluent French.
