Job Description

·  Responsible for directing efforts to assimilate and identify spare parts for the purpose of integrating into the refinery SAP maintenance management and warehousing systems.
·  Conducts training classes with all personnel in the Integration Maintenance Group on how to properly transfer information into SAP and how to properly populate and complete the spare parts orders data sheets.
·  Assists and/or creates all SAP material numbers and bill of materials for spare parts.
·  Performs duplication checks on all items prior to setting them up in SAP to ensure warehouse inventory is not increased due to duplications of existing parts.
·  Responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory values by review of inventory spreadsheets.
·  Enter requisitions for direct purchases needed for various activities throughout the unit startups.
·  Develops spreadsheets for the purpose of tracking purchase orders, required by dates, progress of spare parts purchased/ received, spare parts purchased per their discipline, capital versus expense expenditures, and transfer of spares from Ethane Cracker Project to the Refinery.

Candidate profile

·  High School Diploma and 3-5 years inventory management in a refinery/chemical plant required.
·  10 years experience in mechanical craft (pipefitter, boilermaker).
·  5 years experience as a Journeyman and/or Craft Supervisor
·  Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment in the maintenance of a petrochemical or refinery facility.
·  Knowledge of large industrial equipment such as exchangers, vessels, towers, drums and piping and their associated components.
·  Knowledge of safety hazards and appropriate precautions applicable to work assignments.
·  Ability to apply technical knowledge to develop job plans.
·  Must be fluent in the use of SAP maintenance module for planning and entering purchase requistions.
·  Able to manage many different ongoing projects efficiently.  Must be able to work well under pressure and be highly productive. 
·  Must possess good people skills and have good attention to detail.  Must be able to interact with all levels of employees.
·  Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel)
