Overall, you will have the responsibility of demonstrating cost efficiency and insurance that activities are correctly reflected within financial statements and forecasts.
This area of responsibility will include tasks such as:
· Develop team structure and processes supporting ‘value for money approach’
· Establish process and financial controls
· Contribute to monthly and annual forecasting and planning exercises
· Identify and propose process internal and cross functional process improvements
· Support audits on suppliers
· Support and mentor cost controllers working within your team
· Ensures cost control for commitments, budget availability, accrual estimates

Your background
· At least: BA degree within Finance
· Experience in Finance
· Experience in SAP (particularly CO) and of BW is an advantage
· Experience in MS Office Excel
· Preferably experience from the Oil & Gas industry or another similar technical industry
· Proficiency in oral and written English

As Cost Controller, you will be able to shape and develop a central role with great influence in ensuring the cost control for external expenditures of the activity under responsibility. This is with the possibility to continuously learn and develop your competencies e.g. monitoring of commitments, budget availability, accruals estimate etc. Finally, you will get to use your knowledge and experience applying a range of techniques when developing and maintaining reports in SAP, monitoring expenditures against Budgets, Forecasts, Commitments and AFEs as appropriate.
