In Canada, our retail chains include Winners, HomeSense, and Marshalls. With variety comes plenty of happy surprises—our environment is ever-changing, and that’s just how we like it. Every day is an opportunity to discover something new about our business, our partnerships and even something exciting about yourself. Ready to Discover Different?

Meet Sarah

Sarah is a Health & Safety Auditor in our Human Resources Department. She is responsible for completing internal health and safety audits in the Store environment, including compiling data, evaluating trends and opportunities to improve Health and Safety processes, in partnership with Management teams within Health & Safety and Region. This position is required to travel frequently (80% to 90% of the time; overnight travel 40% to 60%) and is not regularly situated in an office environment.

Sarah says she appreciates that we go the extra mile to help our Associates maintain a healthy work/life balance. Funny, it doesn’t feel like we’re doing anything extra. Maybe that’s because we pride ourselves on maintaining a family-like environment, and, well, we wouldn’t be a very good family if we didn’t care about each other’s well-being. It’s as simple as that.

Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Health & Safety Auditors, we’d ask you to do the following:

·  Responsible for completing Health & Safety store audits and processes including preparing audit documentation, identifying risks and action plans, communicating results with Management

·  Identifies opportunities to build and improve on various existing processes, programs and current standards that directly impact Health & Safety activities in the business
·  Assists and participates on special projects as assigned

Sounds rather challenging and exciting, right? Let’s hope so, because if it sounds easy or boring, there’s a good chance this job isn’t for you. But if it does sound right for you, here’s why we know you’ll be able to handle those challenges. You have:

·  Minimum two (2) years of experience in Health & Safety or related field preferably within a Retail environment; post-secondary education in Health & Safety preferred
