Job Summary:

The In-House Floor Care Program gives stores complete ownership and control over the cleanliness of their store. By consistently executing cleaning best practices, as an associate of our cleaning team you will ensure our stores are clean and customer ready each day.

Responsibilities:

·  Sweep sales floor.
·  Auto scrub (wtih cold water using approved neutral cleaner) front of store and main aisles daily. Cycle through all department by the end of the week.
·  Buff front of store and main aisles daily. Cycle through all departments by the end of the week.
·  Maintain Associate Lounge and offices.
·  Check restrooms through the day.
·  Dust mop sales floor as needed throughout the day.
·  Sweep down and spot mop sales floor.
·  Vacuum vestibule carpet.
·  Sanitize restrooms.
·  Remove trash.
·  Clean mirrors.
·  Spot clean door/lobby glass.
·  Vacum and pick up walk-off mats.
·  Remove carts, dust mop, and leave area available for morning cleaning.
·  Dust overhead air vents as needed.
·  Dust along valances, atop fixtures, signage, ect.
·  Relocate shopping carts to another spot to allow for sweeping/mopping/buffing of the exposed area.
·  Inventory cleaning supplies;order via ESR as needed.

  

Requirements:

·  Possesses excellent customer service skills
·  Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
·  Possesses strong organizational skills with attention to detail
·  Capable of handling multiple tasks at one time
·  Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
·  Possesses strong communication skills
·  Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
·  Works effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks
·  Retail cleaning experience preferred
