Description

Act as the focal point of contact for customer and vendors during project execution. Acts as a liaison between the Project Group and the customers to clarify issues regarding the needs and expectations of the customers about QA/QC.

· 
Interprets customer's QA/QC requirements, negotiates an aligned solution and make sure quotes, orders, and documentation submitted meet those requirements.

· 
Identifies and manage quality, contractual and codes risk exposures.

· 
Establishes QA/QC documentation at time of quote and execution.

· 
Actively assists in managing concession request resolution and takes steps to enable future prevention.

· 
Provides support and expertise on QA/QC to the project group during quote and order entry processes.

· 
Coordinate customer audits and inspections mandated by customers.

· 
Ensure there is consistency between vendors and customer document lists.

· 
At time of quotation interfaces with Project Group to make sure that the quote meets the customer's requirements.

· 
Communicates information to appropriate parties and works closely with Project group and Manufacturing team to provide the best possible answers to tenders.

· 
Participates in the pre-qualification meetings or pre-manufacturing meetings with customers when necessary and makes QA/QC presentations focusing on value to customers.

· 
Keeps abreast of new international standards, API, ISO, PED and industry trends and shares the information.

· 
Participates in customer inspection if needed, and make sure we maintain good relationships with all the customer's representatives.

Requirements

· 
Possess a Degree in Engineering or QA QC (or equivalent).

· 
Possess minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Engineering or QA/QC department, ideally in EPC company working on Subsea or Surface systems.

· 
Demonstrates strong interpersonal, negotiating, writing and presentation skills to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts.

· 
Proficient in use of CAD and Database systems related to Engineering and QA/QC functions.

· 
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

· 
Shows evidence of good organization and project planning skills.

· 
Added advantage with skills or qualification in QC areas such as welding or NDT.
