The function of this position is to plan manufacturing of assigned parts to meet project related schedules.

Key elements of this position will include:
• Plan production tasks and schedules according to customer orders
• Develop and review production plan with Team Lead for approval
• Monitor the execution of production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely fashion.
• Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
• Determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for maintaining work center schedules
• Responsible for monitoring work center capacity
• Ensure timely release of production order packages
• Analyze delays and interruptions, act accordingly to adjust production schedule to meet deadlines.
• Analyze back orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule the production operations.
• Maintain reports for production planning activities.
• Works closely with other planners to resolve material shortages, pending parts, part master errors, etc.
• Communicate production status to Management on regular basis.
• Monthly Review of Manufacturing Capacity
• Manage manufacturing key performance index with production leaders
• Provide Engineering updates and follow up with ECN changes on parts.
• Ensure budgeted absorption hours are maintained
• Attend daily meeting on Notification Review Board (NRB)

Basic Minimum Qualifications :
• Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering
• 3 – 5 years of experience in manufacturing management
• Must demonstrate strong negotiation, planning and interpersonal skills to interact with co-workers and suppliers in a team-oriented environment.
• Good written and verbal communications
• Microsoft PC skills is required
• Versatile in handing data
• Understand MRP/ experience in SAP will be an added advantage
• Proactive and willing to learn
• Willing to accept role rotation within Materials Management as and when needed
• Willing to perform overtime as and when required
