Job Description

The GEOS Business Analyst (HR) role is an end user facing, IT role based in Aberdeen, providing support for users of GEOS World HR and OTL functionality across the Europe & Africa region. The BA (HR) is required to liase with the system users and business representatives, as well as system development and support teams to identify, progress and deliver value added change.

KEY ACTIVITIES

¡Working closely with the Change Analyst to ensure effective deployment of change.

¡Identify & review improvement opportunities, documenting As-Is and To-Be process flows.

¡Act as the primary point of contact for GEOS users and stakeholders in the supported functional area.

¡Provide guidance, instructions and assistance to peers deploying related applications, changes, interfaces or processes.

¡Provide Knowledge Transfer documentation, Training and assistance to GEOS end users of the supported functional area(s) as required.

¡Build, develop and maintain constructive working relationships with Business and IT stakeholders.

¡Promote an awareness of the PowerBI capabilities and foster increased up-take of these reporting tools amongst end users.

¡Liaise with the Business Process Owners, Key Users from all entities in the supported region, in respect of system changes or enhancements.

¡Ensure that both day-to-day and long term business priorities are effectively communicated to development and support teams.

¡Be directly involved in new GEOS deployments, working with the deployment team to ensure the effective roll-out of the system to new entities.

¡Communicate effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences.

You are meant for this role if you have:


Essential:

¡Related industry experience in Human Resource management / administration

¡Oracle ERP experience or appropriate technical qualification / certification

¡Experience in an analytical role

Nice to have:

¡5 years domain experience in implementing or supporting Oracle HR / OTL functionality

¡Formal Oracle training / qualification in one or more domains

¡Relevant HR qualification

¡Business management qualification

¡Power BI report development
