TPFMC is recruiting an Offshore Structural Designer for its offshore projects. The Offshore Structural Designer will join a team of about 40 people in the Offshore Structural Department. The Offshore Structural Department is in charge of producing the detailed structural drawings for all steel works in offshore projects, from substructure to topsides.

The candidate should ideally have a first experience in Offshore Oil & Gas projects with Aveva PDMS software and must as a minimum have a Higher National Diploma in Structural engineering or equivalent.

The Offshore Structural Designer will be based in TechnipFMC Paris office. He will:

-Develop detailed arrangements of the steel structure in line with the project standards,

-Develop the detailed 3D modelling of the steel structure in line with the information provided by Structural Engineers and other disciplines,

-Produce the structural detailed drawings for primary and secondary structure

-Check drawings before issuance

-Produce bills of materials

-Promote cost efficient solution

-Participate to Offshore Structural Department working methods and standards continuous improvement

-Promote the TechnipFMC Quality, Health, Safety & Environment values

-Report operationally to the Offshore Structural Lead on projects and hierarchically to the Head of Department

English fluent is required.

This position is under French contract (and no Impatriation status is proposed)
