Introduction to the Job

We are recruiting an Offshore HVAC Designer for our offshore projects. The Offshore HVAC Designer will join a team of about 40 people in the Offshore Structural/Architectural Department. The Offshore Architectural Department oversees the design for living quarters, technical E&I building and machinery space of FPSO and FLNG.

Job description

The Offshore HVAC Designer will be based in TechnipFMC Paris office. His/her main role is producing the HVAC 3D model and drawings for all offshore accommodations and buildings.

Main responsibilities:
·  Prepare 3D CAD specification
·  Prepare pre-sizing for HVAC equipment and duct work
·  Develop 3D Model (design and integration)
·  Develop 2D HVAC drawing (extract of 3D Model)
·  Develop HVAC standards for equipment and duct support
·  Produce bills of materials for duct work and equipment
·  Produce standards details according with international standards (SOLAS or DNV)
·  Participate to HVAC design review
·  Check drawing before issuance
·  Participate to Offshore Architectural Department working methods and standards continuous improvement
·  Manage small HVAC team
·  Promote the TechnipFMC Quality, Health, Safety & Environment values
·  Report operationally to the Offshore Architectural Lead on projects and hierarchically to the Head of Department

You are meant for this job if

·  You have Higher National Diploma in Thermal engineering or equivalent
·  You hold a first experience in Offshore Oil & Gas project
·  You are dynamic, proactive, rigorous and autonomous and assert yourself in a multicultural environment
·  Your English is fluent
