Job Title: Instrumentation and Automation Engineer JR

Location: TPIT Rome – Engineering Department - I &A Section

ONLY LOCAL CONTRACT

Short Job Summary:

The candidate will work in the I&A Section that is in charge of the management of I&A proposals, Procurement and detail engineering development. First, the candidate will manage the requisition of simple I&A and thereafter he/she will be progressively involved in all other section activities.

Reporting Line:
·  Hierarchically report to the I&A Section Head
·  Key interactions are with;
·  Internally: Project teams, Procurement dept. Construction dept., Engineering dept., Planning dept., others engineering disciplines.
·  Externally: clients, vendors, suppliers.

The role and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

·  Prepares, updates and checks calculations for detailed engineering
·  Develop the control and safety system design
·  Follow the definition and the requisitioning of the I&A material
·  Ensures timely and qualitative preparation of technical specifications and requisitions in coordination with other disciplines.
·  Ensures contractual technical specifications are met by the suppliers.
·  Ensures proper communication with vendors and technical follow up of the orders.
·  Adheres to the committed man/hours and budget.
·  Ensures timely reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer.
·  Meets quality and HSE objectives of the project.
·  Interfaces with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning.
·  Provides guidance and mentoring to more junior engineering employees.

Requirements:

Must have:
·  Engineering Degree or at least Diploma with 6 years of experience.
·  knowledge of English
·  Computer literate
·  Capability to perform its work on time with the required quality level
·  Communication skills and team spirit
·  Availability to long term assignment abroad.

Nice to have:
-Knowledge of Instrumentation and Automation
- Degree in Electronic/Telecommunication/Informatic Engineering
