Job description

Mission and Responsibilities :

Within the Safety department, you will integrate into a team of Safety and Environment engineers focussed on one of the TechnipFMC projects (oil and gas (onshore or offshore), petrochemical, mining, pharmacy).

You will interface with the Project Management Team, the Client, the Partners and the other disciplines like Process, Piping, Civil, Instrumentation,...

Your principal duties will be :

·  Risk analysis,
·  Safety reviews participation (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA,...),
·  Plot plan review, and 3D model review
·  Identification of Safety Critical Elements (SCE) & Criticality rating of SCE
·  Hazardous area classification studies,
·  Passive fire-protection studies,
·  Cold spill protection studies,
·  Active fire-protection studies (firewater pumps station design, fire-fighting network and deluge systems studies, hydraulic balance calculations),
·  Flammable gas, toxic gas and fire detection studies,
·  Personnel protection studies,
·  Escape, Evacuation & Rescue studies
·  Specification and requisition for fire-fighting and personnel protection equipment, technical bid evaluation, and vendor follow-up.

In addition, you can be brought to check deliverables produced by others and to supervise some engineers.

You are meant for this role if you have/ are:

·  Chartered Engineer (Chemical Engineering background, Process Engineering background or Safety Engineering), you have a significant experience of more than three years in Safety engineering in Oil & Gas Industry.
·  Dynamic, proactive, rigorous, autonomous, you are an easy-going teammate in order to evolve and assert yourself in a multicultural environment.
·  Your English is fluent.
·  Business trips abroad are to be foreseen.
